hi. i have ovarian cyst in my left ovary and my dr. advised me to take deviry 10 mg twice a day for 3 months and she told me that i wont be having periods for these 3 months but i am having period and its been just a month since i took the medicine. what is wrong ?

doctor1 MD

Hello,

Usually, deviry 10 mg stops periods, I am not sure what exactly can be the cause of your bleeding. I suggest you visit your gynecologist so that she can have a proper examination and rule out the cause of bleeding as I believe this can't be your periods.

Hope I have answered your query....

I have an over active bladder, they gave me meds for it and it helps a lot but I still pee more than a normal person should, I also have all the symptoms for ovarian cysts but the doc said if I still have pain n stuff that I may have IC but I don't want that :( whene I drink alcohol it irriates the way I pee, and when I move certain ways it hurtscould the pain be from an ovarian cyst mixed with over active bladder?????

doctor1 MD

Hello,

The cause for over active blabber has to be found. There are changes that the ovarian cyst may have a pressure effect over the bladder and cause increases frequency of urine. The pain may be more due to ovarian cyst then the bladder.

hi doctor, im just a bit worried of my problem. 1 week ago, i had a pain in my right lower abdomen , then i went to see my gyne and did a Trans-V ultrasound and found out i had 3.2 cm ovarian cyst ...ask me to take a pregnancy test at home, and told me to come back if its negative...it was negative, prescribed me with Primolut Nor 10 mg. for 5 days to have my period..but its been 5 days already and i still don t have my period. What is the best thing i will do?

I been recently in and out of the hospital lately for multiple diagnoses with the same symptoms : constant vomiting, extreme lower back pain, nausea, abdominal pain, sometimes a period that starts heavy but then changes texture. Doctors diagnosed me with UTI, then an abscess on my Fallopian tube, kidney stone, and finally ovarian cyst...but never knew why the pain continued. I am currently experiencing some of the beginning symptoms; nausea, lower back pain, strange texture in blood. I fear that my problem still persists and it might be a case unknown.
