Over the past 2 years, I got severe knee pain as well as in the heel (both legs) Also, I am getting tired sooner and pain persist in my hands as well. Doctor advised me to take RA test and it was well within the limits. I have tried different medication but no use so far. Recently my doctor advised me to take Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 test and the results as below: Vitamin B12 - 246 pg/ml 25-OH Vitamin D - 21.49 ng/ml Doctor advised me to take DV 60 K (one dose per week for 8 weeks) and Renerve plus (1 tablet per day for 8 weeks). I am 33 and pure vegetarian. I got mild psoriasis in my legs and fingers.. (not even visible for others) OCD since I was 7 but got diagonised only when I was 25. hello dr. in fact i think a stupid question, but i like you to answer me. before 5 months i had a girlfriend, i had kisses with here , but no intercourse, just kisses , touching, and once i had a stick of her pin (she put it on her clothes sometimes), and she kissed me many times on my hands while i had a dry hands(maybe some very small sores on it). i was afraid if saliva can transmit through this small sores. the funny thing that she is tested for hiv and she is negative and by the way , im registered nurse and i know alot about stds. i think that i have obsessive compulsive disorder, because every time i feel something i think its STD, or HIV , or any bad disease. i had some itchy skin , redness itchy and go with in minutes, , i felt like some hair follicles are little elevated, and i have to be honest , i was soooo stressed . i had some cold sores in my mouth, and i feel sometimes my ear is hot, i had chronic sinusitis. i thought that any skin disease can be spread easily , i thought maybe i got herpes or fungal or any thing like that. i asked a doctor and he told me that im very obsessed. please any one help me in that????

I m an 18 year old female, I am 175 cm and 54 - 55 kilos, which gives me a BMI of 17. About 7 months ago, I went through my final exam period and dropped 5 kilos from stress and anxiety, initially being 60 kilos. Since then I have had an obsession with keeping the weight off and losing more and I never used to be like this. For the past month it has been quite bad. I have literally got into the habit of starving myself, feeling guilty if I even something as small as a sandwich. I will count the calories of everything. My new eating habit has turned into drinking energy drinks as meal replacement as well as diet pills. It has escalated to me feeling very disappointed if I can t go the whole day without eating. It is on my mind almost constantly. When I look in the mirror I don t feel I am thin or underweight. I don t however see myself as fat, I just see largeness in certain areas of my body that I want to go away. I am beginning to feel quite fatigued and ill, and have times where I ve felt I was going to pass out. I come from a family of 6, where everyone, except myself, is very overweight and I m not sure if this contributes to my behaviour. When someone tells me I look like a skeleton or sick from how thin I look, I take it as a compliment and it becomes encouragement to me. I know how sick this is but these are my initial reactions. From my understanding, anorexia nervosa is an obsessive compulsive disorder and is associated with extreme fear and terror. I don t have these feelings, however the idea on putting on weight is very upsetting to me. Can someone enlighten me as to what s happening? Is this just a phase or is this the early signs of an eating disorder?

My son has bipolar but is also being treated recently for OCD in which the meds are not working. He also suffer with high thyroid problems. I have not had his levels checked recently. He has all the symptoms of high thyroid problems. I was reading that it can also cause intrusive thoughts. Could this be the reason he is not responding to the OCD medicine?
