What is Nasal septum perforation?

Nasal septum is the part of body that divides the nasal cavity into two nostrils the left and right. This septum is complete and does not allow the passage of air or fluid from one nostril to other. A hole in this septum is called as nasal septum perforation. This occurs due to trauma, frequent installation of nasal drops, tuberculosis and leprosy.
