What is Myofascial inflammation?

Myofascial pain syndrome, is a painful condition that affects the muscles and the sheath of the tissue called the fascia which surrounds the muscles. Physicians diagnose myofascial pain syndrome based on the areas of complaints of muscle pain and associated tenderness during a physical examination.
