What is Murine typhus?
It is a bacterial infection caused by Rickettsia typhi and transmitted to humans by rat or mouse fleas. Symptoms are fever, chills, abdominal pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, headache, joint pain , muscle pain, and delirium.
