What is Minimal change disease?

Minimal Change Disease is a disease of the kidney that causes nephrotic syndrome and usually affects children. In minimal change disease, there is damage to the glomeruli, the tiny blood vessels inside the nephron where blood is filtered to make urine and waste is removed.
