I am an 80 yr old woman who has just been told I have a heart murmur. My dr says I should no longer drive because I could black out at any time. Is this really true? The real problem started when I fell & hit the back of my head on a tree trunk. My dog ran & pulled me over sand & that was the result. I didn't pass out until 12 hours later. They could find nothing on all the tests. EKG was perfect. Now they say I passed out because of my heart murmur & need immediate care???
