What is Cyclothymia?

It is a type of chronic mood disorder. Cyclothymia is characterized by numerous mood disturbances, with periods of hypomanic symptoms alternating with periods of mild or moderate depression. It is characterized by short cycles of depression and hypomania that fail to meet the sustained duration criterion for major affective syndromes.
