Childhood leukemia

What is Childhood leukemia?

This is a type of blood cancer of white blood cells, common among children . The child usually presents with easy bruising, early fatigue, pallor, failure to thrive, pain in joints or abdomen, fever, vomiting, loss of appetite,etc. Diagnosis is done by simple blood tests, also biopsy from hip bone. Usually curable by chemotherapy, may also need Radiation.
