Cardiac valve disease

What is Cardiac valve disease?

Blood passes through the chambers of heart and into the body through openings which are controlled by special structures called Valves. These valves keep the blood flowing going in the right direction and prevent the flow from backing up. Any of these valves may not function properly, causing a variety of conditions known as cardiac valve diseases.
