I am really worried that I might have a brain tumor. In the last three weeks I have had on and off again neck stiffness and sometimes pain at the bottom back of my skull. I had an xray of my neck down when I went to the ER, and they said my neck was ok, but I needed to check with my primary. Last week Monday I was vomiting and had diarrhea. I went to my primary and she put me on acid reflux medication which seems to have helped the situation. I am still experiencing a little nausea. I also have tingling that comes and goes in my left arm. I am worried about it as these symptoms do not seem to be going away. I have a CT for my abdomen and pelvis this Thursday. Hopefully they can figure out what is going on with my stomach. Can all these issues be caused by a brain tumor? Should I cancel the CT of the abdomen and have one done on my head first? I am 32 years old and this is first signs on these symptoms that I have had.

doctor1 MD

Helo, my 3 year olf daughter was diagnosed with aggressive non-germinoma Yolk-sac brain tumour at a late stage in the supracellar area. she had surgery then chemo and was growing normally. It was only after the radiation (only to tumour bed) that she stopped growing. I do not what to do? doctors have not given us any growth hormones. She also is aking cortisol hormone as the gland responsible for it does not seem to be working properly, we have been trying to lower the dose but were not able to stop it. Ps: she lost sight in both eyes since tumour was pressing on optic nerves. Can you advise us please?

My sister just had an MRI and it states the ill-defined high T@/Flair signal areas in cerebral white matter bilateraly, especially in the frontal lobes. Would you put this in simple terms. She was diagnosed w/a grade II astrocytoma in June 2011 & underwent radiation. Currently on Avastin.
