What is Aortic valve stenosis?
A condition characterized by restricted opening of aortic valve .The cause can be congenital , rheumatic , atherosclerotic and degenrative disease. The decreased orifice size prevents the valve from opening fully and hence obstructs the blood flow to the aorta and onward to the rest of the body.This produces ejection systolic murmur in aortic area.
