Amenorrhea refers to the absence of menses by age 16 in the presence of normal developmental and sexual characteristics or by age 14 if secondary sexual characteristics have failed to develop (primary amenorrhea) or the absence of menses for 3 months in women with previously regular menstrual cycles (secondary amenorrhea).

I'm a female 18 years old. when I was about 14 I had what I thought was my first period , but bleeding lasted about 5 weeks. Once that stoped, I haven't had a period since. It has been embarassing so I have not told anyone.

I am 35yr old woman. I have mild hepatomegaly. I take Setraline 100 for depression. Having Amenorrhea for last 2 months. Prolactin level 173. Not pregnant. Doctor prescribed Cabgolin 0.5mg once a week. Since taking cabergoline I am having extreme bloating, intestinal gas & constipation. Doctor prescribed Looz syrup and Pantocid DSR. I had eating disorder- bulimia for 9 years, I stopped purging 2 months ago.
Last 9 months I've been pill so I wasn't aware if I had problems with my period, before that I had no problems, it was regular.
