What is Adrenocortical disorder?

Diseases or pathological Coditions affecting the Cortical (outer) layer of the Adrenal or Supra-Renal Glands. These are usually Benign or Malignant Tumours secreting hormones. Sometimes, infections like Tuberculosis or Meningococci may affect the adrenal cortex leading to its hypofunction.
