What is Adjustment disorder?

It is an emotional response to recent events causing worry, depression, irritability, eating disorders, etc. Often noticed triggers are loss of loved ones, change in job/school/residence, personal/marital/financial problems. Although the condition is self limited, the effects on the sufferer and consequences are of great importance.
