Zolpidem is a sleeping pil or hypnotic. If you can do without this tablet it is much better. However seeing your age you need a complete eye check up. Vision fundus IOP to be checked. If every thing is ok then you have to change your life style. Increase your physical activity. Zolpidem can develop addiction and can have withdrawal symptom. You should discuss the problem with doctor who have prescribed the drug.
