Have Acne Rosacea Around Mouth. Tried Topical Clindamycin, Zinc Oxide. Concerned

Was recently told I have acne roseacea around my mouth. The onset began after a stay in a hotel on a business trip. I have had it roughly a month and it doesn't respond to any of the treatments I've tried (topical clyndamycin, zinc oxide, adopolene, tea tree oil, monistat). By pictures, it appears to be more like perioral dermatitis. How do you tell the difference and how can I get this to clear up. I am 41 and female and concerned how I got this in the first place.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query,

Clindamycin acts in acne, but is not very effective.
There are other treatments also,

Metronidazole cream and macrolide antibiotics are effective.

Please meet a dermatologist for final diagnosis and treatment
