Getting Strange Discharge. Report Showed Bartholin Cyst Opened And Catheter Placed. Treatment?

April 26th went into OB doc and discovered my 2nd bartholin cyst. (1st one March10). They lanced it open and put in a word catheter. Since then I have had little discharge, changing a thin panty liner 3-4 times a day, that is yellowish in color. This morning walking into work I had a lot of pressure and felt as though I had to pee. Got to the bathroom and nothing. An hour later I did go potty and change my pad. An hour later I was just standing there and a small gush of fluid came out. I was just thinking oh no, wet myself, although I had no sensation to go #1. When I got to the bathroom I was surprised to see it soak my pantyliner, undies, and to my jeans. That is when I started to wonder whether I was leaking fluid. My first child (6 years ago) I had contractions and doctor had to break my water, so I am not sure what to expect. It friday and I hate to take off work for something maybe so minor. I have not have any other gush yet so far, and I have been up and down sitting and standing as I work in a school...please give best advise!

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

You had bartholin cyst and it is recurrent.
It is the infection of the bartholin gland and large pus gets collected.
Just incision and drainage is not sufficient and tends to recur.
It has to be marsupialized and removed completely.
the discharges may be from the Bartholin cyst.
Consult your gynecologist.
