Small Child, Difficulty Walking, Imbalance. Previous Occupational Therapy Done. Treatment?

My grandson is 23 months old. He didn t start walking until he was about 16 month old and had to have physical and occupational therapy to help him get to that point. He has seemed fine since then but now on two different occasions (three weeks apart) his one leg gives out and he goes back to crawling telling his mom that he can t walk. What would cause this?

Hello I have gone through your complaints. Your grand son is having some delay in milestones. But it is happy to hear that he is walking normally. It is normal sometimes for the children to give way while during walking. As he attained some what late, he needs some more time to get adjust to the normal pace. Generally kids will start walking with support by 13months. So let us give him some time as there is no gross delay to him.
Thank you. Good day
