Hallo . Thank you for posting your question . I will do my best to help you . Generally VSD require surgery . There are many types of cardiac surgeries now a days , you may not require open heart surgery . Please dicuss with your doctor . Most important is go for surgery when you are stable means not having any discomfort .When you develop symptoms , surgery will become more difficult . Hope I have answered your query . If you have any furthur questions I will be happy to help .
