What Is The Remedy For The Pain In My Ribs With Malt Lymphoma?
HI, my name is Patti, I am 41 yrs old, I have - have had - malt lymphoma, in the orbit of my left eye, the tumor was in the inside of my lower lid. 15 radiation treatments and tumor gone! My question does not have to do with my eye, but I know I have to watch my digestive/intestinal systems. So - on to my question. Right where my ribs go to the v part - it feels like there is something there that catches it is mild to moderately painful, if I touch it, it feels bruised. I have tried to find out what is there, but the closest I have found is the spleen, but that is more to the left of where I am feeling this. The pain is not a constant, it comes and goes, will be irritated for a few days or a week , then OK for a week or two. Feel it a lot when I sit, bend etc. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. I do have an appointment with my family doctor in two weeks, and my next check up with my radiologist is in May. Thank You, Patti

you need to consult your doctor at the earliest. It need not necessarily be cancer but it needs to be ruled out. Other causes like gastritis or muscle problems also needs to be ruled. Enlargement of spleen is painless especially if it is mild. Final answer to your problem is by clinical examination, so seek your doctors consultation at the earliest
