Swollen Lower Finger Joint That Looks Like Jammed Finger With Slight Discoloration

I have a swollen lower finger joint, it looks like I have jammed my finger, but I don't remember doing so, and there is no sign of bite anywhere, if it is an insect bite what is best thing to do. I have no pain, only swelling and slight and red discoloration for about 3 hours. What is best thing to do?

If it is insect bite then apply ice, take atarax tablet and brufen tablet. If after taking these tablets your pain does not improve show it to a physician. Do not apply any bandage keep wound open.
