Bleeding After Intercourse. Cause?

HI DOCTOR,

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING BLEEDING AFTER SEX WITH MY NEW BOYFRIEND ON 15TH MAY 2013, IT HAS PAUSED SEVERAL TIMES DURING THE PERIOD IN WHICH I MENTIONED, BUT AFTER ANY SEXUAL ENCOUNTERS THE BLEEDING RESUMES, I ALSO DID SOME VIGOUROUS EXERCISE WHICH INCREASED THE BLEADING, WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE CAUSE AND WHAT ARE YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for proper examination and investigation to rule out the cause and treatment.
You should not do vigorous exercise.
Please do protected sex always because your partner is also changed, so chances of sexually transmitted disease are there.
Good luck.
Take care.
