Hello,
welcome to Healthcare Magic.

First there is no need to worry about B12 deficiency. To confirm it you can have serum B12 level from nearby pathlab on empty stomach. B12 deficiency can disturb sleep by causing anxiety and depression.

Common causes of insomnia in your case may be:
-Poor sleep hygiene
-Anxiety, stress or depression
-Substance use: stop use if present
-Vitamin deficiency
-Primary insomnia

So, follow sleep hygiene, take healthy diet and do some relaxation exercise. If symptom do not improve, you can visit nearby psychiatrist.

Wish you good health and all the best.

Regards,

General & Family Physician Dr. Pavan Kumar Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Since you have not mentioned any of your symptoms except not being able to sleep,so I can't answer you very specifically.
You must consult a doctor and get following checked up..
CBC,blood sugar fasting and PP,Thyroid funtion test, liver function tests,Lipid profile, serum VIT B 12 and VIT D and urine routine and microscopic.
At least all these tests would enable to tell whether there is some organic cause behind your problem or the problem is due to psychological causes and depression.
Thanks
