Question: Hi Dr. I moved here from UK 6 years ago. Health was great until 2009. I started ketting bad flank pain, regular, UTI and kindney infections. Lucily now, Im better. Take 20 lisinprin, 40 Lipitore, Sertraln and Ativan when needed Just moved to the area from norther XXXXXXX also I feel I have another USI and flant and unine paint...Of which Ive got used to over the years. :)

Even a single episode of urinary tract infection in male requires detailed investigation and workup to know the cause of infection. Male urethra is longer than female urethra so it's unlikely for infection to spread in case of male urethra.

As you mentioned you are having one more episode this time. It would be more helpful if you could provide additional details
1. Is there associated fever
2. What are urinary symptoms you are having like burning sensation in urine
3. Is there any pain in abdomen?
4. Are you presently on any medication.
