what grade of herniated disc you have? if you are having grade 1 or 2 start physical therapy which will relax your back muscles and with strengthening your pain will reduce remarkly. if you have grade 3 or 4 better opt for surgery rather than trying different complementary medicine. meet your orthopedic doctor to earliest to know your grade and guideline for treatment
