Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Body Pain, Muscle Pain. Arteriovenous Malformations In Stomach. Left Knee And Right Shoulder Replaced. Any Treatment?
I have pain all over my body. I am aware of osteoarthritis in many of my joints and back but I also have muscle pain and even pain when touched in certain areas. I have had my left knee replaced and it is very good. I also had my right shoulder replaced but it is very bad. To have it corrected the surgeon says I would first have to have a bone graft and would not have use of my right arm for several months before I even had a new replacement. I am right-handed and a caregiver for my husband. This is not possible. But this doesn't explain my all-over pain. I am unable to take OTC pain killers because I have had arterovenous malformations in my stomach. So I cannot get any pain relief.
HI Thank for asking to HCM Looking to your surgical history it is very likely that you will have to face the pain problems, pain management is the only way you have right now, second you just bear it as hard as you can, it naturally subsided with this Technic, If I would be your doctor, I would never advise you for replacing the joints instead I would find some other way, any way take good care of your self, have nice day.
