Hi, Thanks for asking. This is called Osgood-Schlatter Disease which is typically seen in sports personals.it is because of small avulsion fractures within the tibial tuberosity caused by traction of the patellar tendon on the tibial tuberosity during forceful contractions of the quadriceps muscles. it is usually a self limiting disease and all u have to do is to aviod exercise for few weeks.

Hi, This unicompartmental osteoarthritis in which only one compartment (mainly medial) gets affected. Asymmetrical reduction in joint space and osteophytes are a part of osteoarthritis. Supra patellar bursa effusion is also secondary to OA. TREATMENT: 1)Quadriceps exercises ( static and dynamic ) 2)avoid squatting and sitting cross legged 3)avoid using indian toilet.
