The anterior fontanelle is last to close some time between 1- 3 years of age. I think it is normal. May see a doctor if child has symptoms of vomiting, sleepiness, irritability, downward deviation of eyes, seizures, unusually large head.

I don't foresee a serious concern here. But please examine the fontanelle (soft spot) for injuries and watch her closely for fresh symptoms. I don't think she will have a problem if the next 24 hours goes by uneventfully.
