Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for writing your query
My advice would be have following set of exercises-
1. Without weight- while sitting on a chair lift one leg in straight position with foot in dorsifexion that is foot is pulled towards knee. Keep the leg in this position for 5-10 seconds. Do it 10 times morning and evening.
2. With weight- After 2-3 weeks you may do the above exercise with weight tied to ankle, may be 2 pound, initially.
Hope this helps you.
Take care
