My son has been having episodes of stomach pain for 3 weeks now and for 1-2 days each week he has vomiting a diarrhea . He went to the md last week and his ears were clear and strep and flu test were negative. He is 7 and on the autism spectrum . He i verbal but is very resistive to dr. And refused to really let the md examine him. I don t want to put him through another 1 hr meltdown and the safety issues that come with his meltdowns to try to see the md again to not being able to have him examined. He does toilet independently and we have started tracking his BMW which occur ever 4-5 days that we are aware of ( how long in the bathroom or smell after). Any suggestions on where we should go from here will be helpful.
