The past history also suggests that there is possibility if the intestinal problems like wheat allergy, gastro esophageal reflux disease, etc. The symptoms may include smelly diarrhea; abdominal pain; weight loss and fatigue. Celiac can affect just about every system in the body, including the skin, hormones and bones and joints. So the symptoms may be wide spread across these systems. The investigations include the blood test, colonoscopy and biopsy while still on the wheat and gluten foods. Genetic test may reveal the possibility of getting the allergy in future.
