Bilateral And Umbilical Hernia

i am 57, have bilateral and umbilical hernia. can both bilateral and umbilical hernia operated at the same time. I have blood pressure, under control is it done under local anaesthicia approximate cost in a private hospital my son is having medical insurance.can the cost be covered under medical insurane

The surgery for your hernias can be done in one sitting- but it will depend on a few things the nature/ size of your hernias Ideally you should be able to get the surgery done in one sitting it can be done under spinal anaesthesia. If you are covered by your son's company insurance and it has been 2 years since your coverage- that is if it is in the second year of coverage then hernia will be most probably covered

hernia is usually not covered in the medical insurance and the claim is rejected by telling the cronicity of the disease cannot be ruled out. but before acting consult your insurance representative, it would be desirable to do surgery with local anesthesia provided you tolerate the surgey
