Am I Suffering From Sleep Disorder?

strange sleep disorder . help please? have had symptoms since i was 8. hi. i was wondering if anyone knew what sleep disorder i might have...i couldnt find it looking around on the internet. ive had symptoms like this since ive been about 8 years old. im 20 now. its while im about to get to sleep i feel like im falling into a very deep sleep but am still aware of whats going on around me. i feel like if i dont awake from this state that i could die and i try and wake myself up. when i do i have a severe headache and feel disoriented. i cant move during this time. it usually occurs within ten minutes of attempting to sleep i feel like my head is "numb" or something. usually walking around the house for a few minutes helps to prevent it from happening again that night. if i dont walk around it can happen as many as 8 times. when its happening i cant speak. the only thing i am capable of doing, if im lucky, is squeeze my fists. i enter into a mindset that it needs to stop as soon as possible and after about 45 seconds it does. i feel like im stopping it myself. the amount of times this happens varies. sometimes i will have it only twice a month. and sometimes it will happen 4 nights in a week.
