Increased Heart Rate, Preeclampsia

Hi! I am a 26 year old Female and I have a resting heart rate of 115 to 125 at all times. I had severe preeclampsia 2 years ago with my son and my blood pressure has never came down. Its usually around 140/90 s. I don t have insurance so I didn t know if this is something I should be worried about since I am not able to just go to the dr at any time?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

BP of 140/90 is not too high that you have to be placed on medications.

Salt restricted diet will be much sufficient to control such high BP .

Also do get your BP examined on three different occasions with no physical or mental stress to ascertain the BP being high.

Wish you good health.
