Hello, tachycardia can be completely asymptomatic but it may also cause chest pain and other symptoms. It all depends on its severity and the patient history. Patients with severe coronary artery disease or heart failure may have serious trouble if tachycardia ensues. In a young and healthy individual, unless a very serious tachycardia occurs, no pain is expected. Kind Regards!
