Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Flatulence and colic is a common problem in infants around this age group.

This problem is managed by giving oral drops like colic aid and Neopeptine in prescribed doses.

Reducing substances in stool is suggestive of lactose intolerance mostly secondary.

In such situations lactose free milk is given for shorter periods till the intestinal villae generation occurs.

Consult the pediatrician for management of the child including feeding advise.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
