Radiologist 's  Response
Hi and Welcome to HCM,
This is not the mismanagement of the radiologist.
Allergic or anaphylactic reactions to gadolinium contrast medium have occurred but are extremely rare. Difficulty breathing and swelling of the lips and mouth, occur in about 1 in every 10,000 people who have gadolinium. Emergency drug treatment reactions generally respond very well. Nothing to worry.

Wish you speedy recovery

Thank you
