Sudden, Severe Joint Pain And Muscle Ache After Hysterectomy. Is There Any Connection?
about a month ago I ran across a link on google or yahoo when i entered a search regard extreme joint pain after a hysterectomy and was amazed to find other women talking about sudden and unexplained joint pain and muscle aches after they had a the full hysterectomy (removal of both ovaries). i am experiencing the same things and non of my doctors seen to think it was or may be related to the hysterectomy. If both of your ovaries were removed, then you might be suffering from osteoarthritis which is a degenerative disease caused by cartilage loss in a joint. This condition is also more frequent in menopausal women because their ovaries do not secrete hormones anymore.
