What To Do For The Spinal Cord Injury?

Good afternoon,

I am out surfing on he net to see if there is any answer to my problem which is caused by spinal cord injury T 12 with both legs paralysed as well as bowel and bladder.
I am getting very very stiff knees and thighs and although I spend up to 14 hours/day in bed stretching out there seem to be no solution. I’ve been told it is no use having a massage or buying a massager just to do the best of the situation.
However, I thought with your readers there might be something they could recommend to make life more comfortable as I am a bit concerned that this stiffness eventually will lead to that I can’t make it out of bed if I can’t sit up.

Would appreciate your advise.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Don't worry go on searching for a solution, one day you will definitely find the solution.
I hope there will be wheel chairs, with electronic controls, you can operate by hands so that you can be in a position to move.
You can have a pulley tied at the top and with rope tied to it on one end you can tie it to the feet, with some smooth support, the other end you can hold them and move the legs, for 5 minutes with a gap of half an hour.
Periodically apply muscle relaxant ointment like relaxil, containing diclofenac sodium to the legs.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms diclofenac sodium tablets for relaxing muscles now and then.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
