Is Pain On The Top Of My Head A Symptom Of Sphenoid Sinusitis?
hello doctor....i have been diagnosed w/sinusitis and am in the process of scheduling a surgery to remove several polyps in my nose. the last 2 days i've had pain on the top of my head. it feels like needles, gets better in the shower (maybe due to hot steam) but is still there and sore to touch...not constant. could this be sphenoid sinusitis and is it reason to go to emergency room?

I really appreciate your concern if this is headache of top of head then this is not related with any kind of sinusitis but this could be nonspecific type of headache may be tension headache as you are going for surgery and this could cause little worry and may induce the headache, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
