It can be cervical spondylitis. I would suggest you to show it to orthpaedic surgeon and get neck x ray. Avoid using very high pillow.

These seem symptoms of postural cervical sprain,as this is not the age for periarthritis of shoulder and also as the pain is radiating to side of neck.You should avoid continuously flexing activity of neck for a long duration,avoid using pillow.You are suggested to do the isometric as well as isotonic exercises of neck in consultation of a doctor or a physiotherapist.
