Hello, Hbsag cannot be treated completly. Only symptoms can be treated. Get your blood tests done at regular period to check for viral load. Also get liver function test at regular interval. Thank you

Hi nd sorry to hear about this. It means you have this infection. It is active and you can contaminate others. remember Hepatitis B is mainly spread through blood contacts and sex. Consult a hepatologist to get treated if it becomes chronic to avoid complications. I wish you well. Dr. Ditah, MD.

As your ALT level is low,HBeAg negative and viral load is not very high,liver biopsy may be needed.At this stage you need not to be treated.Be in regular follow up
