Pediatrician, Neonatology 's  Response
Hi
Syscan is a drug that contains fluconazole and used for treatment of fungal infection. Fluconazole (SYSCAN) is a well tolerated drug in the age group with very rare serious complications.
Several studies done earlier confirms its safety in neonatal and infant patient population.
Your doctor was right, the recommended therapy of fluconazole for fungal infection is 21 days.
You should continue the medicine for the period.
