Embetta is Metoprolol. A Beta-Blocker Med that helps in controlling the heart rate and decreasing stress on the heart and oxygen consumption by it. Its side effects include Bradycardia, hypotension, arterial insufficiency, chest pain, CHF, oedema, palpitation, syncope, gangrene; dizziness, fatigue, depression, confusion, headache, insomnia, short-term memory loss, nightmares, somnolence; pruritus.

Hi, olmezest h40 contains an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and a diuretic. Olmezest contains the ARB only. The diuretic may cause hyponatremia (low sodium) and hypokalemia (low potassium) so stopping it may revert the untoward sodium changes. No more side effects are expected since the same drug (olmesartan) is the ARB in both drugs! Low sodium may induce mental changes though. Kind Regards!
