Limited Movement In The Arm, Pain In The Shoulder. Injury Due To Weight Lifting?

I have limited movement in my right arm, when I try to move it behind me I get a sharp pain fill the back of the arm, triceps/shoulder area. Have tried resting it from doing any weight lifting for 2-3 weeks but still hurts. I can't push myself up off the floor so movements like bench pressing and push ups are out as they're too painful... Any ideas what this could be? It's definately an injury from weight lifting, maybe lateral shoulder raises.

Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

I have read your question .It looks that you are having pain on taking your arm towards your back as well as on elevation.

Your details shows that you may have either impingement syndrome or tendinitis of your shoulder. This can be better diagnosed by clinical examination from a orthopedic doctor & having a MRI of shoulder.
Your doctor may give you relief by giving intra articular steroids & some good analgesics.
Some exercises are also helpful in relieving these problems ,for this you may take help of your physiotherapist.

Hope this all will help you.

Wish you a happy & healthy life.
