Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum Esophagus can get inflammed due to many reason. Some of them are, a. Gastro esophagial reflux disease b. Chemical ingestion c. Hot fluid/food ingestion d. Injury etc So, you can take proton pump inhibitor(pantoprazole) with prokinetic drug(DOmperidone) for relief along with cold fluids. If not subsided please visit your doctor for endoscopy.

Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Erosion of esophagus is the main reason of such type of feeling. Hyper acidity ( fried food, spiced food, tension , coffee (excess) , junk ) is the main reason . Antacid tablet + antacid syrup ( containing oxetacaine ) will provide you complete relief.
