My MRI report shows foraminal stenosis at c6-c7 and a major extrusion on the left side causing moderate radiculopathy and loss of strength. The symptoms have been ongoing for four months with physical therapy , chiropractic care, anti-inflammatory meds and gabapentin . My doctor has now referred me to a neurosurgeon and believes that surgery is most likely necessary. Would this be ab accurate assessment?
