So, I think it's to your advantage (as well as your friends and family so you don't contaminate anybody) to go to the doctor and get yourself tested with what's called a RAPID STREP TEST. Hello and thank you for your question. If you have swollen lymph nodes (glands) and sore throat you may have a strep infection that requires antibiotics. Please see a doctor for a strep test.
