Pulled Groin Muscle, Painful To Work Out, Bruise In Thigh

Hi, I thought I pulled my groin muscle almost two weeks ago. It is painful when I work out (kicking, tumbling), especially when that leg is fully extended with no bend at the knee . It does not seem to have recovered noticeably after stretching and abstaining from working out for almost two weeks. I tried to work out today, and noticed there was a bruise that I had not seen there previously in the center of my inner thigh.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
It seems that you have injured your muscle and there is a hematoma too in that area. Such soft tissue injuries do take 3 to 4 weeks for proper healing that too if you provide full rest to the area. Avoid all types of exercises and take mild anti inflammatory drugs for recovery.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
